How We Verify Facts at Scale

Our multilingual workflow for sourcing, vetting, and visualising facts across four channels.

Rigour without friction

Every Facts Arena video ships with at least two primary sources, a subject-matter consultant, and an internal sanity check. The goal is to keep our pace fast without treating speed as an excuse.

Our verification loop runs on a shared Notion board and looks like this:

  1. Research pulse. Each channel lead logs candidate ideas alongside first-pass sources.
  2. Signal scoring. Editors score topics on timeliness, impact, and novelty.
  3. Source deep dive. Researchers vet each fact with academic papers, public datasets, or domain experts.
  4. Narrative build. Script writers shape the hook while editors flag any remaining uncertainties.

Tools we rely on

  • Data validation lives in Airtable with automation to track stale sources.
  • Cross-channel briefing happens in FigJam with language-specific annotations.
  • Quality gates are enforced with custom linting: no source, no publish.

A quick reminder

We archive every source map and make it accessible to the community by request. Transparency beats persuasion.

When a topic survives all four steps it gets tagged as ready-to-produce. The output is a script packet that includes visual cues, pronunciation guides, and translation notes for the localisation team.

What’s next

We’re working on an internal API that surfaces our source graph to partners and app users. Expect an update in early 2026 as we open the workflow to community contributors.
